Your key responsibilities
- Partner with the Management Information (MI) data teams to build accurate and automated reporting dashboards, ensuring we create valuable business insight and find opportunities to improve business performance, engage with collaborators to ensure data-driven decision making.
- Lead the project & change management activities to deploy Dashboard updates and improvements in collaboration with the MI team.
- Define overall strategy and leading delivery efforts for each project & change phase, including stakeholder alignment, communication, readiness assessments, change impacts identification and management.
- Conduct change impact analysis and assess change readiness, including identifying and engaging key stakeholders.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships, influence others and move toward a common vision or goal, as well as able to work effectively at all levels in the organization.
- Proactively identify interdependencies with other squads / teams, clearly and timely communicates them and follow up for completion.
- Work closely with Technology, Solutions, and other supporting teams to ensure timely Global delivery of dashboard projects.
Technical Excellence
- Data Collection and Analysis: Gather, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business improvements.
- Performance Monitoring: Develop and maintain performance metrics and KPIs to monitor and report on the effectiveness of business processes and initiatives.
- Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations that clearly communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in business processes and systems, and work with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
- Benchmarking: Use existing benchmarking studies to compare organizational performance against industry standards and competitors.
- Support Strategic Initiatives: Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives, including market analysis, financial modeling, and risk assessment.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and provide relevant insights and recommendations.
Skills and attributes
To qualify for the role you must have
Prior Experience in skills
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, performance management, business analysis, or a related field. Experience working in an operating environment in Refining, preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
