Responsible for handling and pre-arrangement all documentation and delivering documentation to th central bank /sending same through the flash drive to the Central Bank in the framework of the re/pre-financing process
Ensure that the tracker of pre-financing is up to date and do the follow up with RM for missing documentation.
Monitoring transactions received that are eligible for prefinancing including CBFT and TRADE (LC/IC) transactions with regards to the Central bank amount threshold and in accordance with the Treasury team. Consolidate the list of transactions and generate MT298.
Reconciliation of all accounts involved in the pre-financing process.
Check and confirm the receipt of LCY and FCY from the Central Bank.
Prepare the prefinancing request, according to do Central bank prescribed documentation and requirement. Submit the transaction in eTransfer (input the FULL detail of the transfer, including the reference and date invoice) and upload all the documents. Prepare/submit Note explicative in case of need.
Monitoring of approval & of cover received (spooling messages, check intraday statement)
Maintain a closed follow up with the Central Bank on all pending transactions/ actions.
Liquidation of suspense accounts and charges related to the pre-financing process
Handling of tasks pertaining to Market Ops (RTDM reporting, Report all the FX Risk Hedging transactions, etc..)
Identify and resolve FX settlement issues, and make process improvement recommendations to leadership
Analyze moderately complex reports to satisfy management requirements, aid in control activities, and contribute to the launch of product services
Monitor and suggest solutions to errors to minimize risk to the bank, through an intermediate knowledge of procedural requirements
Escalate transaction processing issues to the appropriate department and collaborate on a solution
Design and analyze moderately complex reports, in coordination with standards set by direct leadership
Assist with control activities, and the launch of new products and services
Ensure processes adhere to audit and control policies
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
2-4 years of relevant experience in handling cross border payments specially in relation with the Central bank as a must
Fluent English
Demonstrated basic experience in cash management processing and transaction services, with good understanding of exchange control regulations and subsequent texts
Above average proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and data entry skills.
Proven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment
