Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, finance, or related field
    • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field
    • OR equivalent experience

  • Prior project management experience and leadership skills
  • Thorough and detailed oriented
  • Comfortable handling ambiguity and uncertainty in a business that evolves at a fast pace
  • Written and verbal communications
  • Able to manage multiple work streams and prioritize as needed
  • Proficient partnering capabilities, collaborative and inclusive when working with others
  • Proficient financial modeling and presentation skills

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Interconnection, Planning & Acquisition, Networking, and Finance, to forecast and plan network fiber inventory requirements based on business demand and growth projections.
  • Finance rhythms of business:Facilitate orchestrating budget, forecasts, Long Range Planning (LRP), monthly close, workforce planning, and resource allocation assessment in alignment with corporate andMargin Strategy & Investment Optimization(MSIO) timelines. Communicate required deliverables clearly and facilitate reviews with leaders in a timely manner.
  • Financial analysis:Lead the analysis of inventory data, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization, efficiency improvements, and process enhancements. Drive inventory accuracy and integrity through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation activities, ensuring alignment with financial records and identifying and resolving discrepancies. Provide analysis and simulation to support strategic initiatives focused on inventory strategy.
  • Controls and compliance:Ensure monthly financial results are stated accurately and in accordance with company policies. Ensure adequate internal controls are in place.
