Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management:
- Lead a team of security professionals focused on DLP strategies and technologies.
- Foster a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging creative solutions to complex data security challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DLP solutions into business processes and IT systems.
- DLP Strategy and Innovation:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive DLP strategy that aligns with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and implement innovative DLP technologies and methodologies.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of DLP policies and procedures to address evolving threats and business needs.
- Data Protection Operations:
- Oversee the deployment, management, and optimization of DLP solutions.
- Monitor data flows and enforce data protection policies to prevent unauthorized access, transfer, or leakage of sensitive information.
- Conduct risk assessments and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) to identify and mitigate potential data leak risks.
- Incident Response and Management:
- Assist with Incident Response team on data leak incidents, ensuring rapid identification, containment, and resolution.
- Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and remediate data breaches and leaks.
- Provide post-incident analysis and recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Communicate DLP issues and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver training and awareness programs on DLP best practices.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and privacy teams to ensure DLP strategies comply with relevant regulations and standards.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.) is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT security, with at least 5 years in a managerial role focusing on DLP.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing DLP strategies in large enterprises.
- Strong knowledge of data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and industry standards.
- Experience with DLP technologies and tools, such as Symantec DLP, Forcepoint, Digital Guardian, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure during high-stress situations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: - Stock
