What You’ll Do What You’ll Bring
- Work alongside Test/Reliability/Design Engineers to validate vehicle connectors and cables for the Semi program through mechanical and electrical testing
- Design, fabricate, assemble, and tear down static/dynamic fixtures made of T-Slotted aluminum and sometime solid Aluminum or magnesium
- Run/document electrical, ingress, and visual checks/data to validate connectors/cables operation through validation/reliability testing milestones
- Create and modify python test scripts that interact with DAQs, environmental chambers and Power supplies
- Soldering experience related to reworking PCBA board
- Custom harness building experience related to building signal and power cables sizes from 22 gauge to 0 gauge
- Ability to manage multiple test priorities and communicate proactively
- Performing environmental stress screening (ESS) to identify potential failure modes
- Conducting highly accelerated life testing (HALT) and highly accelerated stress screening (HASS) to determine product robustness
- Operating and maintaining environmental chambers for thermal, humidity, and vibration testing
- Analyzing test data and identifying trends to predict potential failures
- Collaborating with engineers to implement design improvements based on reliability test results
