Your key responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to transformation engagements within the Power & Utilities sector, including digital transformation , operating model redesign , regulatory reform , and customer experience enhancement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address strategic challenges such as energy transition, decarbonisation, and grid modernisation.
- Drive project execution by conducting market and stakeholder analysis, facilitating workshops and interviews, supporting change management activities, and preparing high-quality deliverables such as reports, presentations, and business cases for senior stakeholders.
- Support team growth and capability building by mentoring junior team members and contributing to the ongoing development of knowledge and expertise within the practice.
Skills and attributes for success
- Proven experience in the Power & Utilities sector , ideally within a top-tier or boutique consulting firm, though relevant industry experience is also highly valued. Strong understanding of key sector trends including energy transition, DER integration, regulatory reform, and digital enablement.
- Expertise in delivering business transformation initiatives , technology implementation, and operating model design, with a demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below :
- Degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience working with energy market operators, utilities, or government agencies.
- Familiarity with tools and methodologies such as Agile, Design Thinking, or enterprise architecture frameworks.
