ESS Knowledge and Learning Enablement Program Manager, Supervising Associate

As an Enterprise Support Services (ESS) Knowledge and Learning Enablement Program Manager, you will help successfully develop and deliver strategies, content and opportunities in support of ESS professionals’ functional learning and development. You will work collaboratively across ESS to support and grow effective knowledge sharing, collaboration and firm tool use. You will maintain and deliver ongoing training, develop and facilitate new function-specific training, and surface and track ESS learning needs and knowledge sharing opportunities. This role will also be responsible for helping support the design of quality review assessments and reporting. You will also partner with colleagues to increase awareness and use of the firm’s knowledge assets.

In this role, you'll receive general supervision, and frequently work independently. You may also be asked to supervise content management associates and extended team members.

Your key responsibilities

  • Partners with colleagues, customers and stakeholders to identify ESS knowledge sharing and learning needs and co-develops knowledge awareness and training solutions to support the audience’s business goals.
  • Creatively and proactively proposes and develops appropriate training activities and programs to constituents and colleagues to meet or anticipate knowledge needs and achieve measurable targets.
  • Develops, coordinates, and/or facilitates end-user and/or train-the-trainer learning sessions.
  • Project manages aspects of training and knowledge sharing programs; develops concepts, selects appropriate platform, negotiates activities, timelines and approvals with constituents and colleagues.
  • Monitors and measures learning content to confirm it is up-to-date and assesses usage. Alerts appropriate stakeholders when learning content is not functioning as intended.
  • Analyzes the impact of ESS knowledge sharing and learning activities through surveys, measurements, and other feedback channels for targeted stakeholder groups.
  • Curates existing firm training and learning programs for ESS end users and updates knowledge infrastructure and repositories (i.e., ESS site) with new and relevant ESS learning content and opportunities.
  • Acts as a subject matter resource on ESS function-specific curriculum development and learning and knowledge sharing platforms and serves as a training resource.
  • Builds and maintains productive relationships with ESS teams, CBS and Global Learning, customers and others to leverage, learn, and minimize redundancies.
  • Manages competing priorities by effectively using proven management techniques, such as delegating, conflict resolution, or persuasion.
  • Proactively deals with issues and responds quickly to any feedback from users or stakeholders.
  • Adheres to firm policies, procedures, and standards.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 5-8 years related work experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, complete multiple concurrent tasks, and meet deadlines in a high-performing, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and teaming skills.
  • Ability to adapt to constantly changing work requirements, while assimilating, analyzing and applying new information.
  • Experience with instructional design and/or knowledge of adult learning theory.
  • In-depth experience with one or more of the following:
    • Information, communication (print and online), or learning delivery technologies
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage projects from start to finish
    • Competent at working and teaming effectively with clients and other personnel
  • Experience and proficiency in PC environment, Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and all relevant tools.
  • Ability to work and travel to EY offices

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Some project management experience.
  • A basic understanding of EY branding, editorial and visual identity standards, and a good understanding of firm communication channels, technologies, knowledge assets and processes.
What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $75,900 to $142,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $91,100 to $161,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
