Description
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and applying novel techniques to model training and supporting tasks like data generation, evaluation infrastructure, and inference. You will also be involved in directly integrating ML into products, working closely with the extended team to collect and apply feedback. You will need to rely on your creativity and problem solving to develop scalable, maintainable, and cost-effective solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years industry experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or Applied Research Scientist working on advancing the state of the art of machine learning.
  • Strong understanding in ML, deep learning, natural language understanding, specifically in training deep neural networks.
  • Strong hands-on experience in building large scale ML based solutions and data engineering using Python (preferred) or similar languages.
  • MS in Computer Science or related experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience with applied Natural Language Processing.
  • Experience with reinforcement learning
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
