Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking an effective Technical Communications Consultant with solid analysis experience and technical acumen to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Provides technical communication guidance, services, and support to information delivery solutions, knowledge management systems, and communication strategies. Offers communication services; writing, editing, analysis, and planning. Reviews, analyzes, edits, and enhances existing business and technical documentation, web-pages and other communications media for effectiveness, clarity, and accuracy. Provides analysis and communication services to process improvement and change initiatives and applies relevant quality, regulatory standards, and best practices. Provides analysis to requirements gathering and project planning; actively contributes to complex technical communications and other projects. Interfaces with wide range of personnel, including stakeholders, business line representatives, and technical subject-matter experts. Provides design consultation, implementation support, and content management services to documentation repositories and knowledge management systems. Participates in conversion of existing documentation to alternative delivery media. Contributes to design and implementation of communication solutions to meet/exceed clients' information delivery needs, including website design, and development. Provides expert analysis and communication services to process improvement and change initiatives. Researches and applies relevant quality and regulatory standards. Applies industry best practices and standards to ensure high quality deliverables.

Basic Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

-At least 4 years experience with technical communication guidance, services, and support to information delivery solutions, knowledge management systems, and communication strategies.

Preferred Skills/Experience

-Repository tools including applications Salesforce, SharePoint, Microsoft Suite

-Content management

-Understanding Credit, Agency, Secondary Markets, and Risk Management

-Requirements analysis

-Technical writing/documentation

-Document management

*Note: This role will be required to sit in an U.S. Bank Hub location a min. of 3 days a week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $69,360.00 - $81,600.00 - $89,760.00 Job postings typically remain open for approximately 20 days of the posting date listed above, however the job posting may be closed earlier should it be determined the position is no longer required due to business need.
