As a Quant Analytics Associate in our Home Lending team, you will be instrumental in identifying our business's reporting needs and developing operational reports, executive dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis. Your role will encompass gathering business requirements, identifying data sources, and working closely with our Data teams to construct optimal data solutions for reports. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to enhance your SQL skills using various RDBMS including Oracle, SQL Server, and Teradata. Job Responsibilities:
- Develops, tests and produces analytical and operational reports and metrics using SQL, Alteryx, SSRS, or equivalent reporting tools to assist the business in meeting operational objectives.
- Ensures adherence to internal policies and procedures and identify risks and controls within the operation.
- Adheres to technology architecture standards, technology risk management and security policies, and data management policies.
- Review reports and develop analytical recommendations independently
- Maintains and launch reports on a recurring basis, examining logic for alignment between multiple, dynamic data sources and business report requirements.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- At least 3 years Development experience on RDBMS such as SQL and Oracle
- At least 3 years Development experience on reporting tools such as Alteryx, SSRS, SSIS
- 2+ years of managing resources and projects
- MS Office (required)
- Experience with compliance operations testing/production or process automation
- Experience in reviewing technical specifications, process improvement and process mapping
- Strong decision making capabilities and the ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and influence/execute change
- Demonstrated ability to positively interface with other departments, colleagues, and senior management
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- At least 3 years Development experience on dashboarding such as Power BI, Tableau (preferred)
- Experience using SharePoint, JIRA and Business Intelligence tools (preferred)
- Programming tools and/or Knowledge - R, PowerShell, scripting, etc. (preferred)
- Knowledge in Home Lending LOB/functions (preferred)
- Programming experience using VBA / Python (highly preferred)
