Your key responsibilities

You will spend your time managing the successful delivery of technically complex and demanding corporate transaction projects, ensuring technical and practical excellence to maximize client service quality. In doing so, you will also build and maintain new and existing client relationships both internally and externally.

Moreover, you will be a core contributor to the development of the law practice through initiatives such as delivering internal training, developing precedents, sharing knowhow, participating in team and firm events, giving internal and external presentations, and producing expert articles for publications.

Skills and attributes for success

As such, you should have a solid understanding of Saudi’s legal systems and regulatory frameworks as well as good technical knowledge of said systems. You will also need to have excellent communication and relationship building capabilities that are combined with strategic and commercial awareness.

Ideally, you’ll also have the ability to solve problems creatively and pragmatically, and an enthusiastic, flexible approach to work and challenges. You should also have great negotiation skills and the ability to adapt and get up to speed quickly with developing laws and regulations thanks to a keen desire to continue to develop your legal skills and knowledge

Qualifications & Experience

  • At least 2 to 5 years of experience as a qualified lawyer from a reputable legal practice environment.
  • Good technical knowledge of Saudi corporate law and regulatory environment.
  • Strong client relationship-building capabilities combined with strategic and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, self-management, and project management skills.
  • Fluency in Arabic, both written and spoken.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Knowledge of corporate transactions.
