What You'll Do
Own sales for Cisco’s cloud security technologies, with a focus on the User Protection Suite
Manage a defined quota and territory aligned to a Cisco generalist region
Drive revenue through both direct engagement and channel partner relationships
Prospect and generate leads through a mix of personal outreach and marketing efforts
Identify key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts
Deliver compelling product presentations and live demos, both virtually and in-person
Build and maintain a healthy pipeline in collaboration with sales development teams
Travel as needed for customer meetings, trade shows, and marketing events
Handle objections effectively and guide prospects through the buying process
Present product features, benefits, pricing, and terms; manage quotes and sales documentation
Maintain accurate records of all activities and interactions in Salesforce
Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts to management
Participate in ongoing training to stay up to date with solutions and sales best practices
Who You'll Work With
You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional Cisco teams, including Account Managers, Sales Engineers, Regional Managers, and other internal collaborators. Together, you’ll align on strategy, share insights, and drive success in both direct and channel sales motions. You'll also build strong relationships with partners and customers to ensure mutual growth and satisfaction.
Who You Are
Proven experience in direct sales and working with motivated channel partners
Track record of exceeding sales targets, including in complex software/SaaS environments
Skilled in solution-selling methodologies with a focus on driving corporate revenue
Strong understanding of the security market and related channel strategies
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Comfortable engaging with technical audiences and customers
Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and detail-focused
Collaborative, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic and drive for success
Adaptable and enthusiastic in fast-paced, dynamic environments
Experienced in managing multiple opportunities and consistently exceeding quotas
Proficient in virtual sales techniques including remote demos and online presentations
Familiar with CRM tools, particularly Salesforce
Willing to travel as required
Holds a university or college degree and 2+ years of software sales experience
