Job Description

As Assoc. Director responsible for leading overall Data Orchestration platform, you will be playing a critical role within the Data Integration part of the Central Data and Analytics organization and responsible for leading, expanding and designing the Orchestration platforms and the use of such enhanced platforms into various analytical products and cross-products.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Data Orchestration platform and manage the architecture and design of all products and cross-products related to & utilizing this platform

• Drive the team to manage incoming divisional requirements, prioritize roadmap items and maintain the robustness of existing platform(s)

• Set up short and long-term goals and priorities for the platform, in close co-operation with the Product and Product line leads

• Maintain TCO and cost optimization as one of the platform priorities and educating the team on similar lines

• Good understanding of the overall Data & Analytics priorities and bring related significances to the Orchestration platform and products

• Engagement with key stakeholders across divisions to understand business priorities related to such products and determine the value propositions

• Engage with vendors, external partners and knowledge bases to keep abreast of latest technology and trends in the Orchestration space

• Close co-ordination with other architecture teams to drive & maintain enterprise-wide best practices, designs, architecture and acknowledgement

• Build, grow and support subject matter experts, manage talent and thought leaders within the team

• Retaining and attracting diverse and exceptional talent within the team and creating/maintaining an inclusive environment

• This role will have an opportunity to work with product leads & managers across Central Data & Analytics and will be involved in re-prioritizing and design suggestions across products relating to Orchestration

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in the IT Data and analytics field, specializing as a Platform engineer / Data Engineer for Analytics systems.

• 3+ years of experience in Product management, Cost optimization models, and stakeholder management.

• Demonstrated expertise and in-depth knowledge of cloud services (preferably AWS) and Kubernetes solutions.

• Proficient in containerized solutions, Python, and SQL.

• Hands-on experience with implementing data warehouse and lakehouse architecture-based solutions.

• Strong working experience with CI/CD tools, cloud automation, and Infra-as-a-Code.

• Knowledge of other data engineering products or services (e.g., compute, storage, curation, ingestion) and cloud services (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).

• Team & Product management experience with strong planning skills, forecast and budgeting and the ability to motivate team and achieve results.

• Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a geographically dispersed environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
