About the role

Develops, establishes, and maintains quality engineering methodologies, systems, and practices which meet BSC, customer, and regulatory requirements. Serves as a Quality representative to improve awareness, visibility, communication on quality initiatives to support departmental, functional, site, divisional and corporate quality goals and priorities. Provides focused quality engineering support within new product development, operational, or system/services support.support departmental, functional, site, divisional and corporate quality goals and priorities. Your responsibilities include:

May execute the following responsibilities:

Proactively investigates, identifies, and implements best-in-class Quality Engineering practices.

Mentor for technical guidance for identifying and resolving quality issues.

Identifies and implements effective process control systems to support the development, qualification, and on-going manufacturing of products to meet or exceed internal and external requirements.

Identifies and implements effective process control systems to support the development, qualification, and on-going manufacturing of products to meet or exceed internal and external requirements.

Leads and/or participates in the implementation of assurances, process controls, and CAPA systems designed to meet or exceed internal and external requirements.

Applies sound, systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving quality issues.

For those individuals that supervise others, the following statements are applicable:

• Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained in order to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the BSC Quality Policy.

• Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Licenciature degree in Chemical, Industrial, Electronic, Electromechanical Engineering or Related Field.
• English Level desired: 80-89%
• Experience: At least 5 years
• Checks and provides support in the execution and investigation of CAPAs, NCEP, Failure Mode Investigations, etc.
• Technical Competencies: Desirable ASQ Certified, ASQ certification (CQE, SSGB) desired, Problem Solving, Formal training on statistical and quality techniques desirable, Knowledge of QSR’s, Networking, ASQ Certified.
