Job Description

The role is based in Mumbai and is reporting to a Senior Audit Manager in the UK.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead audit assignments across finance and regulatory reporting lines of businesses in line with the Company’s audit methodology.
• Independent validation of the remediation of audit and business identified issues.
• Drafting audit reports and contribution to the drafting of external and internal presentations.
• Staff development, on the job training and providing performance evaluation to team members.
• Effective liaison with local and global audit colleagues and business partners.

Requirements:

• Education : Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant qualification or a university degree in finance/accounting.
• Exp Range: 15+ year experience in regulatory reporting (Credit, Counterparty Credit and Market Risk RWA reporting).

Foundational Skills:

• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to deliver high quality work within deadlines.
• Strong team player and proven ability to work in a multi-cultural and multi-location team.
• Genuine interest and broad understanding of the financial services regulatory landscape and products.
• Ability to process information and change focus quickly.
