Qualifications
- Plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of material through the production cycle.
- Determine material requirements from production schedules.
- Coordinate the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, and engineering.
- Review and track shortages and run shortage meetings with the procurement team.
- Escalate critical part shortages to management that will jeopardize the ship schedule.
- Plan and release subassembly work orders for the tool.
- Prioritize and track sub-assemblies, ensuring they are completed and available on the shelf before tool kitting begins.
- Maintain the work order bill of materials, ensuring it supports efficient material flow and aligns with the assembly process.
- Collaborate with engineering for new product work order releases and material planning.
- Ensure engineering change orders are approved and work orders are updated accordingly .
- Review backorders related to the tool line.
- Create reservation requests for internal department part requests.
- Create delivery documents and close work order variances, coordinating with the stock room.
- Understand manufacturing capacity and allocate resources as required to meet build plan commitments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS degree + 2 years related experience in a manufacturing environment OR
- AS + 5 years related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in Excel, ERP system; preferable SAP.
- Detail oriented and process driven
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years
