As an Advanced Data Engineer/Analyst at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and systems. You will be responsible for collecting, storing, processing, and analyzing large volumes of data to support business intelligence and data-driven decision-making. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our data-driven solutions.

You will report directly to our Product Security Analytics Manager and work out of our Phoenix, Arizona office on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the safety and integrity of our systems by:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Elicit and manage data reporting requirements with key stakeholders
  • Extract data from various sources using APIs or DB queries
  • Design and implement dashboards based on transformed data
  • Present dashboards to key stakeholders to facilitate decision-making processes
  • Drive changes in Product Security tools to improve the collection of security data

US PERSON REQUIREMENT

MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent
  • 4+ years of experience with data transformation techniques (knowledge of data architecture, data quality, data mapping, and data structures)
  • 4+ years of experience building and developing ETL data pipelines from various sources
  • 4+ years of experience with software development and validation
  • 4+ years of experience with data visualization tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Amazon Quicksight, or other relevant reporting solutions)
  • 2+ years experience programming knowledge in Python, SQL, or other relevant languages
  • Ability to travel worldwide 10% of the time

WE VALUE

  • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts
  • Knowledge and practical experience with JIRA and Confluence
  • Knowledge of AWS Glue, Amazon S3 buckets
  • Knowledge and practical experience with Subversion, Accolade
  • Technical experience in the software security field
  • Understanding and knowledge of IT principles and processes
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Certifications in security and privacy demonstrating deep practical knowledge, such as CSSLP or CISSP
  • Familiarity with at least one data analysis programming/scripting language (R, Python, PowerQuery, etc.)
