JOB DESCRIPTION

Pay rate: $42.79/hr + $1.10/hr shift differential

As an HVAC Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. You will work as part of a team to provide exceptional service to our customers in the Minneapolis, MN area.

You will report directly to our HVAC Supervisor and you'll work out of our Minneapolis, MN location.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on the comfort and safety of our customers by ensuring that HVAC systems are functioning efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, performing repairs and maintenance, and providing recommendations for system improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial buildings
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and replacing filters
  • Repair or replace defective components in HVAC systems
  • Provide recommendations for system improvements and energy efficiency
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

The annual base salary range for thisposition is <$42.79/hr>. Please note that this salary informationserves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors whenextending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilitiesof the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, keyskills, as well as market and business considerations.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • High School Diploma
  • Successful completion of 18 months Air Conditioning-Refrigeration school course at Dunwoody or equivalent school and 24 months’ experience
  • Complete with a passing grade all applicable EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification tests up to and including Type III or Universal.
  • Acquire within 3.5 years, or possess a MN Power Limited Tech License.
