We are looking for a talented Software Development Manager to lead the development of Prime Video’s Live Low latency Video stack (Sye). You will manage a team that owns the core streaming service of the solution: the Sye Streaming Engine. The protocol is UDP based and developed in C++. It has high demands on functionality, performance, robustness, compatibility and maintainability. The Sye Streaming Engine handles the quality of experience of live streaming along with dynamic and programmatic ad insertion.Please note, this role will require frequent (once a month) travel to Stockholm.Key job responsibilities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
