Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Fully support the Quality Policy by building quality into all aspects of the incumbent's work and by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements (including but not limited to being current on all training requirements for the incumbent's position and documenting that training).
  • System installation.
  • Preventative and corrective maintenance.
  • Equipment upgrades.
  • Electronic troubleshooting & component replacement.
  • In-servicing/training biomedical and medical personnel.
  • Presenting Service Program options and value proposition.
  • Reporting of field activities.
  • Mentoring colleagues and special projects as assigned.
  • Travel Requirements: Up to 75%

Required Qualifications:

  • Two-year college degree in Biomedical or electronics major or equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of degree will be considered
  • Excellent computer networking, equipment troubleshooting, administrative and communication skills
  • Familiar with all standard electronic test equipment, including Digital Multi-Meters and safety analyzers
  • Ability to travel approximately 75% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must have good communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with customers
  • Minimum 4 years field service technician experience with relevant complexity of technology and regulatory environment

The anticipated hourly base pay range for this full time position working at this location will be $25.10 or from $25.10 to $42.65, plus variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements) and the value of core and optional employee benefits being offered at Boston Scientific (BSC), which can be reviewed at .  At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated pay range.  BSC considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location.   Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs. Actual compensation may be otherwise adjusted if the position is filled outside of the intended geographic location.

This role is deemed safety-sensitive and, as such, candidates will be subject to a drug test as a pre-employment requirement.
