Responsibilities:

  • Work with R&D engineers to help to design, evaluate, and demo new speech and audio features containing traditional digital signal processing (DSP) algorithm approaches.

  • After successful proof the algorithm performance, you will develop a demo prototype and work with various teams to commercialize the new feature, on this process you will:

  • Translate feature requests into sets of engineering requirements.

  • Review existing state of the art methods in the literature and propose potential solution directions.

  • Prototype new algorithms in MATLAB, Python, or C/C+ + Demonstrate effectiveness of proposed solution through unit testing and comprehensive performance evaluations

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Coding experience in C/C++.

  • Experience with MATLAB and/or Python.

  • Knowledge of traditional audio digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms development and implementation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Willing to work in cross disciplinary, geographically dispersed teams.

  • Familiar with PyTorch and common neural network architectures, namely LSTMs, CNNs, RNNs, etc

  • Master’s degree

  • Experience in the theory of any of the following:

  • Active noise control (traditional signal processing)

  • Acoustic Echo cancellation and noise suppression (traditional signal processing)

  • Audio equalization (traditional signal processing)

  • Adaptive filtering for audio applications

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Electrical Engineering

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
