GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: To ensure all stamping process parameters, quality levels, and settings adhere to the process set-up sheets and standards.

Role and Responsibilities

• Maximize uptimes on all machine centers with the objective of reducing and eliminating downtime.
• Ensure all process parameters and press die production settings are according to process specifications.
• Respond to all Quality and Operator issues regarding press parts and operation processes.
• Drive the reduction of defective parts through sustaining the best production conditions promoting corrective actions and the work order system.
• Perform evaluation to ensure all stamping procedures and equipment's are conducted accordingly to safety and quality standards to eliminate human errors and reduce downtimes.
• Deliver training to new Process Technicians, Operators, and other press team employees when required.
• All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

1. Education and Experience: Minimum: Associate's Degree required with 5 years of relevant experience or in troubleshooting Press operation / Tooling and Die.
Bachelor's degree with minimum 4-5 years experience preferred
2. Knowledge: Knowledge of set-up for Press machines and die set- Forklift, Overhead crane, Knowledge ofset-up/teaching/modifyingPress robots and grippers, Troubleshooting of press stamping machine
3. Skills: Good communication skills, Problem Solving Ability, MS Office or other Production related system skills such as GMES-PM/RM.
4. Physical Demands:
• Frequently required to stand; use hands to handle and reach.
• Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• All employees for all positions must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 lbs.
• Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
5.Must be willing to stay current with technology through continuing education.
6.Must demonstrate a high level of reliability by maintaining excellent attendance at all times.
7. Frequently work in close proximity to machinery.
