As the
BESS Engineer, you will be responsible for working as part of our Energy and Power team inundertaking conceptual design and specification for BESS and other renewable energy plants/plants in conjunction with BESS, preparing feasibility studies, and establishing technical specifications and tender documents.
- Tertiary degree in Electrical / Civil / Mechanical Engineering, licensed is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience, including 2 years in BESS
- Design management experience, preferably with some as Owner’s Rep or Owner’s Engineer
- Experience on Projects delivered by large Engineering Procurement and Construction Contractors
- Understands the typical schedule for design, manufacture, and construction of large BESS projects.
- Effectively interface with other Project delivery functions – Risk, Schedule, cost control, Health and Safety
- Proactive problem solver with a practical approach and experience managing a team
