Financial Services Offices Assurance - FSO Labs - Data Scientist (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1532674), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Detroit, MI.

Help improve data integrity and quality to allow for the development of automation, and creation of statistical analysis to create efficiencies in the delivery of audit services. Collect, combine, and explore data to create insights that supports auditors with decision-making processes. Define, design and develop client-centric data science solutions that uses statistical and analytical analysis to enable critical services for audit clients. Optimize big data and apply repeatable transformation techniques to prepare data for analytical procedures and insights. Solve complex data challenges and generate unique insights.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor's degree in in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Analysis, Statistics, Financial Mathematics, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Analysis, Statistics, Financial Mathematics, or a related field, and 4 years of related work experience.Must have 4 years of hands-on experience in Python and/or PySpark.Must have 4 years of hands-on experience in SQL and/or SparkSQL.Must have 3 years of experience in data analytics libraries and tools including in at least one or a combination of any of the following: Pandas, Plotly, Python–Numpy, Tableau, R, Alteryx, Hadoop, Microsoft Power BI, JavaScript, and/or D3.js.Must have 3 years of experience working with data, including designing, conducting, analyzing, and/or interpreting data-driven experiments and investigations.Must have 3 years of experience writing production-level code and working within big-data analytics platforms (such as Apache Spark, Dremio, and Azure DataBricks).Must have 3 years of experience working in one or a combination of any of the following financial services industries: Banking and Capital Markets, Insurance, and/or Wealth and Asset Management.Must have 3 years of project management experience including managing projects with multiple stakeholders and varied timeframes.Must have 2 years of experience supervising teams of data scientists and data analytics professionals.Requires domestic travel up to 20% to serve clients.Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
