This person will need to be technically sound, with in-depth knowledge and experiencein Go, Kubernetes, Linuxopen-source technologiesKubernetes ecosystem.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• OR equivalent experience.
• Experience in GoLang
• Experience in Linux Operating systems
• Experience with Kubernetes, creating Custom Resources and Operators

Other Requirements:

• Cloud Background check: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• OR equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of developing, testing, releasing, and operating reliable, distributed systems software
• Knowledge of secure development practices and maintaining project compliance
• Ability to troubleshoot and remediate issues in production systems
• Experience in one or more of the following Areas:
• Microsoft Azure core services
• OSS communities, specifically with Ironic, Metal3, and Cluster API (CAPI)
• Networking, Storage, and Compute (including virtualization)
• Platform Monitoring, Logging and Alerting
• CI/CD to automate delivery stages with pipelines and control promotion with quality gates
• Cybersecurity with a focus on Cloud Infrastructure

As a Senior Software Engineer you will contribute to andbe responsible for:

• Designing and developing features that will advance industry products

• Building a continuous deployment product to rapidly integrate functionality and upgrade the platform

• Mentoring engineers, performing frequent code reviews, and setting and upholding development best practices

• Working across internal teams to ensure strategic program and product alignment
