Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of the products handled by the team, compliance with the requirements and regulations, timely revision and update of departmental documentation
- Processing or reparation of domestic and cross-border transactions including ACH (Automated Clearing House), RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement), IP (Instant Payments), postal voucher, cash-in-bag, wire, SEPA and internal instructions, meeting the necessary documentation requirements and quality standards
- Timely escalation of issues to prevent or minimize the negative consequences, losses
- Execution of daily reconciliations, identifying and managing settlement transactions related to open items
- Participation in system developments affecting the area (participation in tests), tracking errors or process weaknesses, suggesting enhancements, where possible
- Cooperation with Legal and Compliance departments. Managing queries and instructions received from domestic external partners (co-banks and authorities) or local co-units
- Working occasionally at weekends and public holidays for tests purpose
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience preferred
- Knowledge of domestic and/or cross-border settlement systems (GIRO, VIBER, SWIFT, SEPA) will be an advantage
- Effective verbal and written skills in English and in Hungarian
- Attention to details
- Effective communication and analytical skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows (word, excel etc.)
- High school graduation exam
- Degree in finance or economics will be an advantage
