What you'll do...


What you'll do:

  • Chief Architect for the Unified Warehouse management system for many markets handling General Merchandise, Pharmacy, Imported goods and specialty goods like fashion, jewelry and opticals. Responsibilities include leading the Architecture, Design, Implementation, Deployment and maintenance of the entire platform.
  • Work with other architects in the area to build a resilient, performant, multi-tenant platform which can handle multiple business segments.
  • Guide the team on best practices in building large scale systems.
  • Work closely with Senior Architects from other areas of supply chain including Item, Inventory, Replenishment and Transportation.

What you'll bring:

  • Expertise and experience in building large scale systems and to design the plan for customizing/creating the architecture for multiple products/platforms within a domain and validate the technical priorities for the product/solution architecture.
  • Expertise in cloud based technologies revolving compute, messaging and data storage. Use them to evaluate the right tech stack for the platform. Continuously evaluate and improve the capabilities and NFRs like availability, reliability, scalability, performance of the platform. Ensure reducing the time to market for platform features.
  • Culture champion. Work closely with other Architects within the org. Provide mentorship and guidance to create a culture of technical excellence.
  • Influence without Authority. Work closely with other Architects outside the org in Supply chain and collaborate building efficient end-to-end solutions for Walmart.
  • Experience in Retail domain is a plus.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: - Stock Minimum Qualifications...
