Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

  • Evaluating resource availability (materials, employees, equipment) and confirming orders.
  • Creating production plans, entering data into the integrated system, and notifying the purchasing group.
  • Overseeing plan implementation, addressing deviations, and preparing long-term forecasts (MPS, Forecast).
  • Ensuring system accuracy for item data, routing, BOM, and demand.
  • Generating Clean to Build reports, checking material availability, and monitoring stock levels and KPIs.
  • Assisting SCM and Order Desk, advising on customer request priorities, and managing high-visibility customer programs.
  • Driving enhancements in Order Management and addressing performance issues related to shipping dates and inventory.
  • Working with the Master Scheduler on product life cycles and rescheduling production due to changes or shortages.
  • Serving on Customer Focus Teams and supporting inventory control and supply chain management.

Here is some of what you’ll need:

  • 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Planner Scheduler or similar roles
  • Bachelor's degree OR equivalent Manufacturing scheduling work experience
  • Excel experience (e.g. formulas, pivot tables). Experience with macros ideal/optional.
  • PowerPoint presentation experience.
  • Production Planning/scheduling, and DOF (Direct Order Fulfillment)
  • Manufacturing experience - preferably from Medical Device manufacturing.
  • Customer communication and meetings
  • Learn new tools/software quickly and work/multi-task under pressure
  • Work on a variety of problems of diverse scope and complexity where analysis and evaluation of various outcomes require tradeoffs and negotiation.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Here are a few of our preferred experiences:

  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Scheduling Management principles and practices.
  • Above experience from Medical Device manufacturing companies.

Pay Range (Applicable to Illinois) $67,300.00 USD - $92,500.00 USD Annual
