Perform a wide variety of assignments for the coordination of various environmental engineering water related designs (water treatment, process piping systems, construction management, etc.). Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks such as conceptual and final plan preparation and site design. Conduct water quality sampling and monitoring for regulatory compliance and process optimization. Conduct engineering calculations for chemical use in plant processes and general plant operations for current and future conditions. Assist in design, planning, and implementation of process engineering for water treatment. Assist in developing plans, specifications, and estimates as part of the design and contract development team. Participate in planning, cost development and management, and scheduling for assigned projects. Conduct site visits to conduct field observations as required.
Travel requirements vary as per the project anywhere between 5-10% International and domestic. The purpose of travel is primarily related to site visits for obtaining site information and verification of engineering design activities, and client coordination and meetings.
REQUIREMENTS:This position requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Chemical Engineering or related field and 2 years of work experience in Environmental Engineering Consulting or closely related occupation.

SPECIFIC SKILLS: Special Skills or Other Requirements:
Expertise/ knowledge of: Design specifications and standards. Environmental and process water quality sampling. AFT Fathom or equivalent hydraulic modeling software. Process design and optimization. Data analysis skills. Advanced MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
