As a Communications Intern, you’ll play a key role in enhancing SAP North America’s internal communications strategy through engaging content. Responsibilities include:
Video Production and Editing
- Assist in developing and editing videos for a range of internal communications, including employee spotlights, company announcements, and event recaps.
- Manage end-to-end video production, from storyboarding and scripting to filming and post-production.
- Help ensure all video content aligns with SAP’s internal brand guidelines and effectively engages employees.
Content Creation for Internal & External Platforms
- Create compelling content for internal communications channels, including newsletters, intranet articles, and team announcements.
- Develop visuals, graphics, and multimedia assets to accompany written content, enhancing clarity and engagement.
- Contribute to editorial planning and brainstorming, supporting the team with creative ideas for campaigns and projects.
- Assist with Social Media content strategy and content creation, specifically for LinkedIn.
Support Internal Communications Strategy
- Partner with the internal communications team to develop campaigns and initiatives that enhance employee engagement and support SAP’s strategic goals.
- Assist in gathering and analyzing employee feedback to refine content approaches and improve message resonance.
- Help ensure consistent messaging across different platforms and departments to strengthen brand and culture alignment.
Project Management and Team Collaboration
- Track project timelines, tasks, and deliverables, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Organize and maintain multimedia assets, creating an archive of reusable content for the team.
- Support team meetings and planning sessions, taking notes and tracking action items to keep projects on schedule.
Employee Event and Campaign Support
- Assist with the planning and coordination of internal events, such as team meetings, town halls, and employee engagement activities.
- Create and manage content for digital engagement during events, including promotional videos, highlight reels, and post-event recaps.
What you bring
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or master’s program in Communications, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop).
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging messages suited for internal audiences.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with experience handling multiple projects and deadlines.
- Collaborative team player with an eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
