What You Will Be Doing

  • Builds an in-depth understanding of customer benefits of search and AI capabilities on Elasticsearch and customer use cases.
  • Engages with sales and solution architects for understanding how Elasticsearch is being used by customers and partners for search and AI use cases.
  • Identifies market opportunities, gaps, and narratives around Search, generative AI trends and core technology innovations.
  • Helps carry out company and solution product releases – from planning initiatives to tracking progress and measuring results.
  • Translates technical features and capabilities and distills them into compelling differentiators, use case-based messaging, and content that aligns to our corporate messaging, by persona and in support of our search solution and industries teams.
  • Helps carry out sales enablement for company and solution-wide product launches – through from planning plays to tracking progress and measuring results.
  • Crafts curated, compelling content for sales teams (pitch decks, playbooks, and leave behinds) and delivers engaging sales trainings.
  • Supports sales teams with quick responses to questions, providing sales assets and customer references to win new or repeat business.
  • Keeps sales assets accessible, findable, and updated in sales playbooks.
  • Brings leadership and teamwork skills, interfaces collaboratively with Product, Sales, and Marketing.
  • Deeply understands target personas and segments, how customers buy and users adopt our search products with generative AI, and the value they derive from them.
  • Develops messaging for multiple audiences, including developers, IT, and business decision-makers, that can be adapted across various channels, social, web, events, etc.
  • Clearly articulates Elastic's position and differentiation in the market.
  • Reviews customer stories for product accuracy and alignment to solution positioning.
  • Represents the company at conferences, community, and customer events and other demand gen opportunities.

What You Bring

Familiarity with Elasticsearch is a bonus. We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience in product marketing collaboration with other functions across marketing, sales, and partner organizations.
  • Experience in sales or sales enablement (especially for technical products), leading outbound product initiatives focused on new, groundbreaking technology and/or enterprise customers with sophisticated requirements.
  • Creative energy, and out of the box thinking, someone who has a track record of influencing sales teams with plays and pitches that impact the company's bottom-line.
  • An execution-oriented approach. Comfortable balancing multiple priorities with a performance history of staying organized.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Experience with public speaking.
  • Technically savvy with regards to target personas, our products, solutions, industries we play in or capable of learning very quickly.
  • Comfortable working in a very cross functional role with a highly distributed team.
  • One or more domain-relevant experiences is a plus (Cloud, Search, AI, Open Source).

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component.

These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.

An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

The typical starting salary range for this role is:

$94,300—$149,200 USD

$113,300—$179,200 USD
