DESCRIPTION *** Please note this role can be based in multiple EMEA locations including Frankfurt, Dublin, London, ) ***The AWS Global Real Estate Team is looking for a talented Site Acquisitions Manager based in EMEA (Frankfurt, Dublin or London). In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape and execute on strategies to expand our Data Center portfolio and related infrastructure. You will help develop where we go, negotiate the business contracts and deliver the infrastructure needed to provide best in market Data Center projects.Our Site Acquisitions Managers;You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.
Key job responsibilities
In this role you will:Understand the technical requirements of our engineering teams and developing solutions that meet the design and business objectives.Have involvement in the full construction process to deliver all aspects of a project to include building, data center specific power, and all other site utilities.Manage of multiple complex contract negotiations simultaneously.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional certification in Real Estate, Development, Management or Urban Planning or a related field. 8-10 years of commercial real estate transaction experience preferably in industrial/office development and leasing or related experience.
- Demonstrated history of successful real estate transaction negotiation and development skills.
- Experience in build-to-suit lease developments and land acquisition/development. International real estate experience a plus. Experience with industrial real estate and land negotiations highly preferred. Ability to prepare, review and negotiate financial analysis of potential deal structures.
- Strong negotiation abilities to include legal document review and negotiation in conjunction with legal counsel. Willing and able to travel roughly 50% of the time both domestically and internationally.
MBA or Master’s degree in Real Estate Development, or Urban Planning or a related field.
Data center development experience.
International real estate experience in EMEA region.
Excellent analytical skills with ability to provide big picture insights from multiple sources of data.
Ability to work independently, prioritize, manage time effectively and be a self-starter.
