What you will be doing:

  • Electronic-packaging design, using sheet metal/CNC machining/metal die casting and plastic injection, taking the consideration of power, thermal, and environmental requirements

  • High level of mechanical PCB design using IDF format.

  • Air & liquid Cooling elements design & debugging.

  • Design & managing of products manufactured in mass productionquantities/technologies.

  • Leading manufacturing resources including Design for manufacturability (DFM) with manufacturers and suppliers. Leading changes on existing products.

  • Create parts and ASSY instruction drawings for proper manufacturing and products assembly.

  • Inspection of parts. Perform Mechanical verification tests. participate in design & production failure analysis, find root-cause & suggest corrective & preventing actions.

  • Join and lead task forces to investigate and support production excursions, failure analysis and reliability issues.

What we need to see:

  • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or higher.

  • 2+ years of experience in electro-mechanical product design, including PCB/PCBA design.

  • Self-motivated with a sharp learning curve and able to work independently and as a teammate.

  • Proven 3D CAD experience (One system at least), i.e. Creo (Pro-E) Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks, , Catia, Unigraphics- Must.

  • Background in design of components for high-volume manufacturing technologies, such as: stamping, die casting, extrusion, and injection.

  • Experience in developing fixtures/jigs for product assembly/testing.

  • High awareness for quality and manufacturability, and understanding of statistical tolerance analysis techniques, and geometric tolerancing.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English- Must.

  • Team player with high service orientation.

  • Hands on - able to assemble what you designed & train others.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience in working with supply chains, contract manufacturers, component suppliers, contractors, and manufacturing partners.

  • Experience in IDF file exchange with Layout engineers.

  • Tolerance analysis in sophisticated boundary condition assemblies.

  • Experience with Mechanical and Thermal simulation tools.

  • Agile or other product management system experience.
