Mechanical HVAC design engineering from conceptual design through construction administration
Coordinating with multiple disciplines to ensure projects are delivered within budget and schedule
Research and contribute with innovative and traditional ideas to solve challenging and difficult engineering problems
What You’ll Bring
3+ years’ experience designing and or construction of HVAC systems
Knowledge in chiller plant, boiler plant, ductwork, piping, HVAC, and plumbing design
EIT certification required. Working towards Professional Engineer registration for Texas, passing PE exam is preferred
Working knowledge in the use of following applications Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Trane Traceand/or Carrier HAP, Pipeflo
Familiar with International Energy Conservation, Mechanical, Plumbing and Fire Protection Codes, NFPA standards, SMACNA duct construction standards, ACGIH Ventilation Practices, ASME, ANSI, ISO, and ASHRAE standards and fundamentals
Professional design experience in a wide range of project types including office, mission critical/data centers, large commercial building, high tech/R&D, bio-tech/pharmaceutical and industrial is preferred
