Using your experience and project management skills, you will develop valuable, specialized knowledge, while sharing your expertise with a number of internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively analyse business needs and partner up with internal and external stakeholders to complete steps to ensure compliant international trade, including trade with controlled substances
- Build professional relationships with government stakeholders, be partner to them when handling Honeywell license applications or performing audits, timely prepare and submit statutory reporting
- Work to analyse existing processes and continuously assess improvement needs in terms of data quality and controls over existing operational model of international trade
- Build cross-functional relationships to develop agile processes for cooperation and continuous process improvements
- Partner up with other Export Compliance Officers in the region to improve flow of day-to-day work
- Continuous learning as regulatory environment changes, implement necessary measures
Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree or three years of corporate experience in lieu of a degree
- Fluent German and English (C1 and above) is a must!
- Exposure to export compliance through work experience, or an interest in compliance themes and willingness to learn
- Growth mindset and resilient personality
- Creativity and independent problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of MS Office suite
