We're looking for an Mid-Level Electrical Engineer in Cary, NC who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on projects including pharmaceutical facilities, semiconductor manufacturing, and other state of the art manufacturing facilities. You’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will produce designs for Medium and low voltage power distribution systems, Lighting, Grounding, Fire Alarm, Security, Public Address, Telecomm and Heat Trace systems. You’ll also interact directly with the client, owner, and contractors to assist during construction. You and the other members of your team will work closely with client owners in a fast paced, dynamic environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documents. You’ will also have the chance to utilize your technical expertise to mentor other professionals, helping your team discover what drives them, nurturing their purpose and guiding them forward.

• The Electrical Engineer will plan, organize, and perform Electrical engineering activities under the direction of a Senior/Lead Engineer

• The Electrical Engineer will assure compliance with Client, Jacobs and industry standards on their assigned project.

• Candidate will develop key Electrical deliverables and aid the lead Electrical engineer in the preparation of scopes of work and estimates to support the project.

• Perform calculations and evaluations in the design of equipment and systems for industrial applications.

• Perform tier reviews of project deliverables to ensure accuracy, conformance to codes, specifications, design criteria and conformance to good engineering practices.

• Must also be familiar with Microsoft Office Packages (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio), Revit, AutoCAD and Bluebeam Revu.
