Job responsibilities
- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
- Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
- Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
- Deliver differentiated payments products that address market needs and represent viable business opportunities, collaborating closely with stakeholders and functional partners across Legal, Compliance, Finance, Technology, and Operations.
- Design scalable and products for the broader J.P. Morgan organization, contributing to the bank’s digital products through clear issue framing, systems-level thinking, and rigorous analysis.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Expertise in payments cash management including payments processing systems, and blockchain/distributed ledger technology; enthusiastic about technology and building innovative payment solutions.
- Experience in leading new business and change management initiatives, ensuring efficient product development with clear accountability and stakeholder engagement.
- Exceptional logical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to deconstruct complex problems into manageable components, driven by a proactive, ownership-driven, and results-oriented approach.
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- At least 5 years of experience as a Product Manager in the payments, liquidity, and/or cash management domain.
- Understanding of international markets from a digital payments, FX, securities, and treasury perspective.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional organization.
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or other related disciplines.
