Your Role and Responsibilities
As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a vital role in crafting exceptional software experiences. Your responsibilities will encompass the design and implementation of innovative features, fine-tuning and sustaining existing code for optimal performance, and guaranteeing top-notch quality through rigorous testing and debugging. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, and you’ll be working closely with fellow developers, designers, and product managers to ensure our software aligns seamlessly with user expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Database Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases. Optimize database performance, including query tuning and indexing.
- Application Development: Develop and maintain applications using Java or C# in alignment with business requirements. Ensure high performance and scalability of applications.
- Containerization: Utilize containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) to deploy and manage applications and databases in a containerized environment.
- Windows Environment: Work within a Windows environment to deploy and manage applications, ensuring compatibility and performance.
- Legacy Systems: FoxPro knowledge is an asset.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including analysts, architects, and other developers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve database and application-related issues promptly. Provide technical support and mentorship to junior developers.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 2-3 years experiecne working with JDBC/ODBC
- 2-3 years experience with Java/C# development
- REST API and JDBC skills
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Advanced SQL server queries writing and optimization skills.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
