Functional Testing

• Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to design test cases. Perform functional, integration, and regression testing across Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot Studio) and ServiceNow applications.
• Validate workflows, business rules, security roles, and data integrity.
• Conduct cross-platform and cross-browser testing for web and mobile apps.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing scripts, coordinating with business users, and logging defects.

Performance & Load Testing

• Define performance benchmarks and KPIs (response time, throughput, scalability,
  availability).
• Conduct load, stress, and endurance testing for Power Platform and ServiceNow apps.
• Monitor and analyze application performance under simulated workloads.
• Identify bottlenecks and provide recommendations for optimization.
• Ensure solutions meet system availability SLAs and scale under peak usage conditions.

Test Automation

• Design and implement automated testing frameworks for Power Platform and ServiceNow.
• Automate functional regression and performance scenarios where feasible.
• Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain reusable test scripts and libraries for ongoing sprints.

Security & Compliance Testing

• Validate compliance with IM8 and SGTS guidelines.
• Support vulnerability remediation and audit preparation.
• Verify access controls, role permissions, and data handling policies.
• Collaborate with security teams for penetration testing follow-ups.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices.
• Log, track, and manage defects in JIRA or equivalent tools.
• Provide test execution reports and performance analysis during sprint reviews.
• Maintain testing knowledge base and reusable assets.

Skills and attributes for success

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4 to 6 years in software testing with at least 2 years testing Power Platform and/or Servicenow Solutions
• Strong understanding of Power Platforms and/or ServiceNow
• Strong understanding in test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Katalon Studio, Servicenow ATF) and performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter, LoadRunner)
• Good to have: ISTQB Certified tester; microsoft certified, Servicenow Certified System Administrator/Application Specialist
• Excellent communication skills with ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
