You’ll assist a team of project managers, scientists, and engineers in delivering environmental services on time and within budget for world class projects. You’ll work with a knowledgeable and supportive group of professional staff as you plan and execute field activities including soil sampling, groundwater sampling, and remediation system maintenance; prepare scopes of work for subcontracts, conduct data analysis on field and laboratory data sets, and create technical reports documenting completed activities and results.
- In pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental science or closely related field
- Must be at least a rising Junior
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Willingness to perform field work
- united States Citizenship
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- 3.0 GPA
- A previous internship related to your field of study
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs
- Self-driven time management and organizational skills
- Be willing to undertake 40-hour Hazardous waste and emergency operations (HAZWOPER) training and current 8-hour HAZWOPER refresher class, if needed
