Job SummaryReporting to thethewill be responsible for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality, and delivery improvements to support a manufacturing organization.
What a typical day looks like:
- Develop and implement process improvements for PTH manufacturing.
- Analyze and troubleshoot process-related issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct experiments and gather data to support process optimizations.
- Train and mentor staff on PTH manufacturing processes and equipment operation.
- Document and maintain records of process parameters and changes.
- High-level participation in daily production activities and effective problem solving on daily issues.
- Prepare justification, purchase, and implement capital equipment for production.
- Oversee the production of new process equipment.
- Hold up the raising and introduction of engineering change orders (ECOs).
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS in engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in PCB manufacturing, specifically with PTH processes.
- Fluent English.
- View mate experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of plating and chemical processes used in PCB manufacturing.
- Proficiency in using CAD software and process simulation tools.
- Stencil design.
- Availability to travel.
