As a here at Honeywell, you willplay a critical role in driving strategic sourcing initiatives and optimizingprocurement processes. You will be responsible for developing and implementingsourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost savings.Your expertise in strategic sourcing and supplier management will contribute tothe overall success of our procurement function. You will report directly to our Sr Director, Strategic Sourcing and you'll workout of either our Tempe or Phoenix AZ location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of ourprocurement operations, driving cost savings and ensuring the availability ofhigh-quality goods and services.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, anddelivery performance.
• Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identifystrategic suppliers and onboard them.
• Lead supplier negotiations and contract management to ensurefavorable terms and conditions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplierperformance and supply chain efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcingstrategies with business objectives.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships tomitigate risks and ensure compliance.


YOU MUST HAVE

  • 8+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, business, or finance.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, procurement, supply chain, finance, or technical discipline.
  • Strong data analytics usage (MS Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, etc…) and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in supplier management and contract negotiations.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, specifically Aerospace.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends.
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Ability to independently lead multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with SAP or similar procurement systems preferred.
  • Experience with federal acquisitions regulations, defense federal acquisition regulations, and commercial practices
  • Significant experience managing long-term supply agreements and subcontracts (FFP, CP, CPIF, etc.).
  • Ability to negotiate terms and conditions.
