IT Security Manager (m/f/d)

Role and Responsibilities

• Operate and optimize local IT security processes in alignment with European security guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with global policies and manage internal/external audits, checks, and incident response.
• Coordinate local and regional security projects while collaborating with stakeholders across various departments (Legal, Workers Council, Management).
• Assess new business partners and IT solutions from a security standpoint.
• Monitor and manage local IT security operations and infrastructure.
• Keep up with cybersecurity trends, emerging threats and best practices to proactively improve our defense strategies.

Skills and Qualifications

• University Degree or vocational training in Computer Science, IT Security, or related fields.
• Multipleyearsofrelevantexperiencein IT/Securityauditing,consulting,orsystemmanagement–ideallyin an internationalenvironment
• Languages:Fluencyin English,verygoodGerman and/orKorean
• At leastonecertificationofCISSP, CISA,orCISM
• Expertise in: ISO 27001, GDPR &commoncybersecurityframeworks,vulnerabilitymanagement,incidentresponse,forensics, Network,system,server&cloudsecurity,Documenting and data handling (Excel)
• Strongcommunicatorwhocantranslatetechnicalriskstonon-experts
• Structured anddecisive,withasolution-orientedmindset,evenin high-pressuresituations
• Mindset: Hands-on,self-driven, and team-oriented
• Comfortableinmulticulturalsettings
• Willingtotravel
