Key Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot and Resolve Technical Issues: Use your advanced technical expertise to identify and resolve complex issues in industrial automation systems, including PLCs (Allen Bradley), HMIs, VFDs, conveyors, palletizers, and robotics.
- Provide Technical Support: Offer advanced on-site support for Honeywell’s material handling solutions, ensuring customers’ systems are running at peak efficiency.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with engineering, product management, and project teams to ensure the smooth implementation and delivery of automation solutions.
- Customer Training & Mentorship: Conduct training sessions for customers and field service engineers, helping them understand and utilize our solutions effectively.
- Stay Current with Industry Trends: Continuously improve your technical skills and knowledge by staying up-to-date with advancements in industrial automation and making recommendations for improvements.
- Travel 100% within the Northeast regions and occasionally, nationwide.
The annual base salary range for this position is $80,000-$118,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
You Must Have:
- 6+ years of experience in field service engineering, specializing in complex technical solutions.
- Deep knowledge of Industrial Automation technologies , particularly Allen Bradley PLCs (PLC5, SLC500, CompactLogix, ControlLogix), HMIs, and VFDs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
