As the Business Program Manager within the Microsoft Operating Unit, your primary responsibility will be leading the Contracts & Compliance pillars within the partnership. This role requires active collaboration with finance, legal, operations, and compliance teams from both Microsoft, and connecting the dots with the business stakeholders, across both corporate and field functions. Your Program Management responsibilities will involve working across a broad set of stakeholders to manage all compliance aspects of the partnership, involving setting the right governance, monitoring and execution of compliance. You will also oversee legal and contracts initiatives related to the partnership. In your role, a close connection to the running business governance is essential, to identify compliance and legal risks and mitigation efforts.
- To stay competitive, you will perform program landscape analysis and examine business trends. You’ll also identify opportunities to develop and improve programs and define program strategy and create project plans.
- With minimal coaching, you will work with cross-functional stakeholders to design programs from initiation to delivery. You’ll also define and track success criteria and performance metrics.
- You will define and execute on a landing and communication plan, leading the rhythm of business during execution. You’ll also promote the program and gain buy-in from stakeholders, partners, and customers.
- As you contribute to or lead a portfolio of projects, you’ll communicate the program status and risk to stakeholders, and hold them accountable to following the schedule. You’ll also work with other teams to ensure program processes are executed efficiently.
- You will conduct cost-benefit analyses, collect and evaluate success metrics, and use other analytics to examine performance, derive value, and identify risk and opportunities. You’ll also influence and manage change in the organization.
