Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience with one or more optical technologies such as client transceivers, optical metro, long-haul DWDM systems, or submarine systems.
Experience in one or more programming languages such as Go, Python.
Experience in IP backbone (routing protocols, IP addressing, management and control planes, etc) or optical network (DWDM, OTN, coherent transceiver, etc).
Preferred qualifications:
Experience building and maintaining software services, tools, and automation frameworks for analyzing and troubleshooting IP and optical networks.
Knowledge of IP or optical network technologies (e.g., routing protocols, IP addressing, DWDM, OTN, etc.).
Ability to write SQL scripts, query data structures, and extract network and diagnostic information.
Ability to analyze business processes and provide data recommendations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence others through data insights.
