As a key member of our Project Controls Team, you’ll provide the day to day support, planning and management of our scheduling team comprised of senior and mid-level staff. You will be responsible for performing and managing scheduling work such that the balance allows necessary time for oversight of the entire project schedule. Attendance of project meetings and presentation of key metrics will also be required. Managerial requirements include clear delineation of each member of the team’s responsibilities and coordination within the team.
• At least 10 years of Planning / Scheduling experience on EPCMV life-cycle projects in the Life Sciences, Bio-Pharma industry; 20 years of experience in the EPCM industry.
• A good understanding of building construction, timelines, and practices
• Experience Working inside the Primavera (P6) scheduling tool and Schedule Analysis/Acumen Fuse
• Facilitation of multi-company interactive planning sessions
• Analysis of CPM schedules and the ability to recommend work-arounds and schedule improvement ideas
• Communication of schedule status on a regular basis via formal and informal meetings and reports and the ability to develop schedule analysis presentations graphically, written, and verbally
• Interaction with engineering and construction personnel to understand and communicate issues and conflicts that impact the schedule
• Collaboratively work with PM and CMs using the schedule as a tool to help deliver the project on schedule.
• Coordinate the project's earned value system with schedule updates
• Uses knowledge of general application of principles, theories, concepts, and industry practices and standards to perform work
Ideally, here’s what you’ll also have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, Construction Management, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
• Advanced Excel, MS Access and/or Power BI skills
• High degree of Organizational skills
• EPCMV project life cycle experience (home office & field construction)
• Cost Engineering and EVM experience on EPCMV Bio/Pharma Projects
