Key job responsibilities
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for:- Maintaining, redesigning, and adapting holistic hardware solutions for ambiguous problems with fluid requirements
- Collaborating with Operation partners and cross-functional teams to gather design requirements and feedback

- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
- SolidWorks or similar CAD experience, understanding of best practices for part design, advanced assemblies and complex configuration management
- Thorough understanding of principals, theories and concepts in mechanical engineering and ability to apply them to product design
- Hands on experience crafting and evaluating proof-of-concept models and prototypes
- 2+ years of hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems experience
- Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys Finite Element analysis tools
- Experience with creating designs that improve customer experience though optimization of human interfaces and ergonomics
- Experience documenting designs in accordance with ASME Y14.5
- Experience designing and debugging tooled (cast, injection molded, sheet metal, etc.) components or robotically welded assemblies
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management PLM software and ECO’s
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate well with teams
