Qualcomm Hardware Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.

Job Overview

QUALCOMM Technologies Inc. is the world leader in supplying integrated circuit solutions for cellular wireless standards and is the number one fabless semiconductor company. QTI is driving the next phase of wireless evolution and expanding quickly into adjacent IOT, Automotive, and Computing markets with advanced silicon/VLSI R&D. Engineer will be responsible for characterization and developing cost-effective manufacturing test solution for DDR memory subsystem within Qualcomm leading-edge SoC products in the most advanced processes. These include but not limited to memory controllers, PHY, IO pads, DDR SDRAMs test with automated test equipment (ATE). Engineer will be developing Characterization and Test Plans, identifying DFT and test hardware requirements, ATE tests/routines/programs to execute test plans, driving first silicon debug to qualify designs fabricated at external foundries, performing technical data analysis of parametric performance, driving failure analysis to completion, analyzing high volume manufacturing yields and driving test time reduction. Engineer with be working with IC design, system engineering and Hardware applications engineering in a time critical environment across the globe. The individual selected for the position, needs to be proactive, able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, enthusiastic to work as well as be passionate about delivering quality work.

Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

· Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

· Knowledge of Electrical/Electronic engineering fundamentals, digital, analog, mixed-signal and VLSI.

· Experience working in both Windows and Unix/Linux operating system.

· Knowledge of computer programming fundamentals (C/C++/Java/Perl)

· Knowledge of DRAM and DDR controller/PHY/IO ATE testing is a plus.

· Knowledge of statistical concepts, analysis and techniques.

· Knowledge in test automation development/scripting/debugging is a plus.

· Strong verbal and written communications skills.

· Independent, initiative and ability to overcome technical challenges.

· Good organization and documentation skills.
