R&D Engineer II
R&D Engineer II (Plymouth, MN)
As an R&D Engineer you will be supporting research and development activities for new and existing products and processes.
Your role:
- Collaborating with cross-functional team members throughout product development phases to ensure program success and making data driven decisions using appropriate analytical methodologies.
- Designing, prototyping, and refining device concepts using design for manufacturability practices, while assessing component and product non-conformances and providing root cause analysis and recommended actions.
- Creating and documenting design concepts using SolidWorks and rapid prototyping methodologies, as well as creating specifications for device components, assemblies, packaging, and labeling.
- Working with process development engineers to ensure that products are optimally designed for manufacturing, assisting in theidentification/selectionof outside suppliers and consultants.
- Preparing for various design reviews in accordance with regulatory and quality system requirements.
You're the right fit if:
- 2+ years of experience in Sustaining Engineering and/or R&D Engineering
- experience with design controls, supporting a project through the design process and/or material changes.
- bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
